Tap Tubes at MJBizCon 2025: Our First Convention & Official Launch
From December 3–5, 2025, Tap Tubes officially launched at MJBizCon in Las Vegas, marking our very first cannabis convention and a huge milestone for our brand. MJBizCon is the largest cannabis industry event in the world, bringing together growers, manufacturers, and brands — making it the perfect place to introduce Tap Tubes’ eco-friendly pre-roll tubes to the market.
For us, this show was about sharing our vision for simpler, more sustainable cannabis packaging and showing how Tap Tubes pre-roll tubes can fit seamlessly into modern cannabis operations.
An Eco-Friendly Booth Inspired by Tap Tubes
Our booth design was a direct reflection of the Tap Tubes brand. Built with honeycomb material and Kraft paper, the entire setup mirrored the minimalist design and sustainability behind our Tap Tubes packaging tubes.
Using Kraft paper throughout the booth was intentional as it highlighted our focus on eco-conscious materials. The natural look sparked conversations about why sustainable packaging matters and it caught the eye of brands looking to move away from traditional plastic packaging. Many attendees were surprised to learn how Tap Tubes is rethinking traditional plastic pre-roll tubes by offering more responsible alternatives that also increase function and durability.
Seeing Tap Tubes in Action: Labeling Machine Setup
Behind every great pre-roll tube is a smooth production process. Kevin, our labeling expert, spent time getting our custom labeling machine ready so visitors could see how Tap Tubes J-tubes integrate seamlessly into real-world packaging workflows.
Watching the machine in action helped brands visualize how easily our pre-roll tubes can be labeled, customized, and scaled for growing operations. It also opened up great conversations around efficiency, consistency, and automation.
Building Global Connections
One of the best parts of MJBizCon is meeting people who are pushing the industry forward. We had a great time connecting with Erwin and Roland from Pacific Rim Fusion, a new online platform that connects cannabis brands across the U.S. and Europe.
Meeting industry leaders behind these brands reinforces why Tap Tubes exists— to support cannabis brands as they grow, scale, and expand into new markets with reliable, sustainable packaging.
Exploring Home Compostable Packaging Solutions
Sustainability is at the core of Tap Tubes, so we were especially excited to hear Beau Whitney of Whitney Economics, LLC speak about home compostable plastic products made in the USA.
As demand grows for eco-friendly cannabis packaging, innovations like these open the door to future improvements for Tap Tubes products. We are always reaching towards the highest eco-conscious and sustainable materials possible and we're confident that this connection will lead to future collaboration, including the potential for home compostable caps for Tap Tubes pre-roll tubes.
Partnering with Evergreen in North Carolina
MJBizCon also gave us the opportunity to spend time with the Evergreen team from North Carolina, who we’re proud to partner with as we bring biodegradable pre-roll tubes to the NC market.
And of course, there was Hatman. Dorian’s ever-growing hat collection became a fun highlight of the show and quickly became "the show within the show.” This year alone, he collected 32 hats, which added some personality and laughs to a busy convention floor.
What’s Next for Tap Tubes?
Launching at MJBizCon 2025 was just the beginning. The feedback, connections, and energy we experienced confirmed that cannabis brands are actively looking for higher quality and more sustainable pre-roll packaging solutions.
